"I’ve had business with Good Shepherd since the beginning and have purchased several times through Tac Shack. I believe Good Shepherd is now under the same ownership so I am weary to take their courses in the future, hopefully it is still held to a high standard. They are generally good people to deal with and they have a relaxed atmosphere. However, I’ve had issues with them ordering the wrong parts, an employee not knowing how to do a refund and sale for that same issue but I assume that the employee was new so I gave grace on that half hour visit, they just didn’t have any help and were alone which seems risky for the business. I’ve had an employee ask me what the difference is between an AR pistol and rifle… You’d think working at a gun store you’d know the basics. My first time using them as an FFL and it’s been less than pleasant. I’ve never bought from a private seller, always new. So I asked for the information they needed for the transfer and I’ve got three different answers throughout the process. Manager was rude over the phone, denying a phone call from the sender to get them the information they requested. Manager stated he forgot to call me earlier in the week to get the additional information he needed that was forgotten when I came in to fill out the 4473. I think with the new blue laws being implemented and sales dying this shop may be as well. I’m not sure if I’ll be using them in the future."

"We went for a bit of pistol experience. The staff were super helpful, and set us up with a lane and some pistols and ammo. Instructor was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be going back."

"I'm new to shooting. The lady at the desk was helpful with tips for holding my gun while shooting or not. Their in store gun mechanic was extremely patient with me when I could not figure out how to get my shells out of my gun, lol"

"01/13/2018 - Back at the "shack" today. I made it a family affair. I had my wife, daughter, her boyfriend, and my little brother shooting on the range. We had a blast trying out different types of guns. 12/28/2017 - Update for the ladies. This place has a execellent firarms instructor named Annette Chapman. Ladies don't be afraid to come and take her class She does a great job. THE TAC SHACK SHOOTING RANGE is a great place to go and enjoy some shooting time. Allegiant Fire Arms is NO MORE. Me and my Johanna have never shot a hand gun before and at the SHACK we were able to rent a 9mm to give it a try with the help of a well trained instructor. Tony took the time to show us shooting etiquette and best practices, we had a blast. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They made us feel comfortable and explained everything in great detail. They were extremely encouraging and we will be back to shoot again. Veterans discounts available."
