"I was disheartened with the care that my three sick children received under Doctor Huerta's care as well as the staff at Heathway. My wife went with the 3 little ones for a scheduled appointment she called ahead and told them she would be running late. When my wife got to the facility, first the staff was short with her said that they could only see two of them because of her being less than 15min late , the first 2 had ear infections but she said she could see the 3rd child 3 hours later they didn't try to accommodate for a already in system patient. 3 hours later for a lone parent of 3 sick children to wait and come back when they were literally in a room already is nonsense. After my wife pleaded which they said that they could see my other child but that she would have to leave the room and register and wait to be roomed she had to take all three including a crying baby out and back to the waiting room. She had to advocate and essentially beg to get our other child seen who also ended up having a bad ear infection. Specifically with Dr.Huerta she was cold and demonstrated poor bedside manner with out any kindness in her tone and manner of speaking to my children. Unfitting of a Pediatrician especially compared to some other other Doctors that work with Advocate. As a seasoned Nurse of 10 years and my wife who has worked for advocate this was unacceptable behavior towards patients in our eyes we would never treat patients like that. We have never been treated in such a cold manner. This kind of heartless medical "care" if you can call it that, was a horrible experience for all of us."

"Extremely upset with the care that my daughter received by this dr. I took her in because she had drainage in her eyes to the point that she couldn’t open her eye. She also had a cough and lots of congested she pretty much told me it was a cold and she would get over it. Never checked her eyes or nose. I followed up the day after because my daughter woke up worse with all drainage in her eyes the nursed checked with the doctor and she said it’s a viral infection and she needs to fight it on her own. My husband took her to walk in clinic at sequoia not only did she have pink eye but she has bronchitis! This is unacceptable this should have been taken care of when I took her in to see a pediatrician that specializes in children! So unprofessional I will NEVER schedule another appointment with dr Huerta! If I could I would give her a zero with the care that was provided. And not to mention that the room was dirty and there were mask on the floor and garbage!"

"We love add Huerta and drive out of our way to see her. We never feel rushed or limited on our time with her. She answers all our questions and takes interest in our son and entire family. I saw the negative post below and felt compelled to let people know that it’s not an accurate portrayal of her practice. I’ve never felt like she would not provide medication to my son if he needed it. He had serious health concerns that required surgery when he turned 1 and she made referrals to surgeons we ended up loving and gave him whatever medication he needed at the time. (Honestly, the review was hard to read at points but I think that’s the point they were trying to make.)"
