"My children have been patients at ABC Pediatrics since the oldest was born (she is now 16 yrs old) Over the past 1-2 years I have been getting more and more charges that are truly just nickel and diming me. I was charged $6 for a depression screening that they did not inform me of the fact that it was an optional screening, and that it would cost me money. I also just got a statement for my daughters recent appointment. The day of her visit we saw the NP at 12:40 pm. The statement listed an "after-hours" charge and I called and spoke with one of the office managers to discuss as my daughters appointment was in the middle of the day. I was told that the charge was b/c it was a holiday. (Columbus Day). I am aware that evenings, weekends, and major holidays would be an extra cost, but THIS??????? As I told her, I will be sure my child does not get sick on a holiday again, since there was an extra charge for that. Lastly, they code all NP visits under one of the Dr.'s in the practice, so the cost is not reduced, (reflective of seeing an NP vs. seeing a Dr. as it was when we initially joined the practice) I was informed that I signed and agreed to all of these terms. When I asked her what the date was that I signed off, she told me in 2021. So two years ago...they should consider updating their patients and the financial responsibility PPW that is requested yearly instead of only once. Keep in mind, they used to be focus on the kids, now they are focused on their bottom line."

"We loved taking our kids here. Until they started messing with appointments, lying to our face and not owning their mistakes. The management needs a serious improvement. They don’t know how to deal with issues. Serious disappointment. We love the doctors and nurses there, but until they change their management, I don’t see them keeping up with patients."

"New patience beware! Lynn, the office manager, is extremely rude. When asked to schedule a meet and greet with a Dr Shanks in order to feel comfortable choosing ABC Pediatrics as our pediatrician, I was told that Doctor Shanks would only have exactly one-minute to introduce herself to my husband and me and that's it. Pretty contradictory to their philosophy where they state they strongly believe in spending ample time educating families. As a result, we will be looking elsewhere even though Dr Shanks was recommended to me by a family member."

"We have been seeing Dr. Persak since about 2019, when we switched our infant from DuPage/Duly. We actually chose ABC Pediatrics since it was near our original daycare and house, but we have moved since then and still trek back to ABC Pediatrics for both our kids. Everyone there (front desk and nurses) is SO compassionate and helpful when I call about minor things like viruses/rashes/falls. They take everything seriously, tell me exactly what to look for, and ask me to call back with any concerns. I never feel like my concerns are dismissed. Dr. Persak is wonderful and so collaborative. Luckily, my children have had been very healthy. Even so, she is proactive with ordering tests and asking questions. I feel like she genuinely cares for my children and their wellbeing, and I completely trust her. There have been a couple times that the wait in the exam room has been long, but we are always in and out within an hour (from the time we walk in the office doors)."

"My family LOVES this office, especially Dr. Law. We’ve now moved an hour away but I still drive my two kiddos out to see her because I trust her with their health! Not only is she kind and gentle with them, but she has always been so compassionate with me and incredibly relatable. She cares for children not only in her practice, but children from all backgrounds and she makes it known. We love her so much, I definitely recommend."
