"I would definitely not recommend Kibbe & Poole P.C. in Alvin, TX for any services. The reason for this is because Russel Kibbe has retired and Angela Poole is managing the clients. My husband used the services of Russel Kibbe for more than 40 years. Before retiring Russel brought Angela on as a partner and Russel became an advisor to Angela. Once Angela took over she tripled the charges to do taxes and cherry picked Russel's list of clients. We found her slow and always unavailable to take calls of meet regarding our taxes. Though we promptly provided all of the documents she required, she never acknowledged receipt of our documents. We did receive I several calls from her receptionist requesting documents that had already been provided. When we asked to speak to Angela she refused to talk with us. After completing our taxes in 2020, she notified us via email that she would no longer be available to do our taxes and we should find another CPA. Our son who used Russel Kibbe for more than 25 years had the same experience. We were notified we must find another CPA without any explanation."
