"I had an unfortunate experience with Let's Go Mobile Tax Service, specifically regarding their communication practices. Despite the convenience promised by a mobile service and the trust I placed in them for my tax preparation, the follow-through on important matters was lacking. In 2023, I faced an audit and had opted for the additional audit protection insurance offered through the service, expecting it to provide a safety net in such scenarios.However, when the audit occurred, the communication from Shon Slaughter, the proprietor, was notably absent. Despite repeated attempts by myself and the audit protection company to reach her via calls, emails, and texts, responses were not forthcoming. This lack of communication became a critical issue when a specific document, essential for resolving the audit in my favor, was not submitted by the deadline. The result was a closed case with a financial burden placed on me due to this oversight.While the concept of a mobile tax service is innovative and potentially very convenient, my experience was marred by this significant gap in communication and support when it was most needed. It's disheartening to report that, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Let's Go Mobile Tax Service for your tax preparation needs. Ensuring that crucial documents are submitted on time is fundamental to tax services, and unfortunately, this was not my experience."
