"I’ve used KM&L for years and this will be my last. In the recent years, the fee for filing has gone up and the only reason I get is “the economy.” I truly thought that being loyal to my accountant, even after moving 4 hours away and referring family, I would have caught some kind of break. Didn’t happen. In fact, the price went up $25 from last year and I didn’t know until I received my paperwork and they were ready to file. After asking around, I paid more than what seemed to be charged for MUCH MORE complex tax returns than mine. Vickie Fuqua didn’t appreciate me questioning my options for filing with someone else and made it clear that I HAD TO PAY THEM FOR THE WORK whether I filed with them or not and that the fee for next year was up in the air due to the fact that the “economy” is so unpredictable. She was cold, rude, and didn’t care that I had been using this company for so long. She made it seem like a $25 difference was nothing to fuss about as if she knew my circumstances. I’m truly disappointed in the way they treated me as a client even after all this time. 0/10 recommend."
