"Three years after I wrote my first review of Dr. Friemel, I'm still functioning, and I believe it is due to the excellent care Dr. Friemel has provided during this time. I also want to give accolades to Tami, the P.A. who helps take care of me, and also Judy in pharmacy who has been so much help in keeping me UpToDate with the medicines I need. In fact, everyone in Dr. Freimel's office, including all the wonderful nurses to the ladies who answer the phones and make appointments have treated me with great kindness and have been of great assistance to me. "To this day I still stay up at night questioning the care my Mother received by Dr. Friemel. My Mother trusted her as a physician, but when she was unable to advocate for herself, Dr. Friemel was not there for her and her family. Calls made to her office when she was critically ill were routinely passed off to her nurses, or met by Dr. Friemel who seemed to have no empathy or time to speak with us. Not once during her stay in the hospital did Dr. Friemel reach out to us, or provide any guidance. In fact, I had to call her office and ask if she should be moved to a hospice, and if she was dying. Dr. Friemel didn’t even have the decency to tell us she was dying herself...she left that to her wonderful staff. Perhaps she was to preoccupied dealing with her disciplinary action by the board of medicine for illegally prescribing medication to her fellow coworker and live-in romantic partner."

"My mother was a patient of Dr. Friemel. My mother became sick with pneumonia at the beginning of the year, and I was disappointed in her treatment of my mother. I found Dr. Friemel short, cold and condescending. As a cancer patient, she knew my mother was immune compromised, and despite that, did not take my mother's pneumonia seriously. She did not aggressively treat her, and she allowed her to become septic and die. I called numerous times concerned about my mother's failing health, many times I spoke to a nurse, and the few times I spoke to Dr. Friemel she made me feel over-reactive, and insisted my mother's health was improving. I had to call Dr. Friemel to tell her my mother was dying, to obtain a hospice referral for insurance purposes. She never called to follow up with my family. I was hesitant to write this review, until I saw that she improperly prescribed narcotics to another doctor at the clinic. I very much question her judgment and care. Find another oncologist."

"I came to Dr. Friemel as a patient already diagnosed with Stage IV renal cell, and she has been patient and understanding. Her attention to detail is amazing, and I highly recommend her."
