"it’s taken me a while to write a review, but i just wanted to say i would recommend this place 1000% to anyone struggling. i was there for about 3 1/2 months, and i came out a complete different person than i went in. i owe my life to this place, it has helped me in a different way than any other treatment has. while the other treatment places i have been to have been focused on weight gain, this place focused on the mental side of everything while also addressing weight gain. there were many ups and downs, and i wasn’t very happy being there. but this place not only saved my life but gave me my lifelong best friends."

"I honestly think this place is inhumane. They treat you like prisoners here. If you have a family member or friend going through an eating disorder, do not, and I repeat, DO NOT Send them here. They do not treat you individually, they treat everyone as one. If one person makes a mistake, everyone gets the blame. I wouldn’t recommend this form of treatment to anyone. Outpatient is the way to go. Who thought sending a loved one to live with of bunch of people with eating disorders is a good idea?? This place should be shut down. Period."

"I loved this place so much, it was the best treatment I have ever received. I had Taylor as my therapist and I could not have wished for someone better. She was extremely understanding and easy to talk too. She helped me through my recovery in so many ways. Taylor is outstanding and I was so happy she could be my therapist. Grace was the dietician and I have always struggled with finding a dietician that I like. But Grace amazed me she was very kind and easy to work with. She is the best dietician I have ever had and I would recommend her a million times. This place helped me so much and it is definitely the best treatment I could imagine."

"If you or a loved one is struggling with an ED then this is a great place to go to. I was here for around 8 weeks and I had such a great experience. The staff here is so amazing and welcoming. I had Adrianne as my therapist and she is so sweet and supportive. She is always there when you need her. Adrianne never gave up on me no matter how hard things got. Taylor the other therapist ran really good groups and is so sweet. Grace the dietitian is so knowledgeable. She is so kind, funny and always wants what is best for you. Out of all the dietitian’s I have had, Grace is by far the best. She will believe in you until you can believe in yourself. Anna the milieu manager (or as we like to call her the milieu momager) is always there for her patients. She listens to them and will always be there rooting for them. Kathleen the clinical director led such great process groups. She is always there to listen. Where do I even begin with the counselors. Holly is so great. She also never gave up on me. Through some of my darkest times, holly was there to pick me back up. Rachel is so fun to hangout with. She’s so nice and is so encouraging. Amber is the sweetest person ever. She’s always there to check in with you and makes sure that you are okay. Audrey is such a great counselor. She never failed to make me smile and laugh. We created some really good memories that I will never forget. She is so supportive and will always be cheering you on. I am so glad that I went to glenview CFD. I can confidently say that this place saved my life. Thank you so much to my CFD family for always believing in me even when I couldn’t believe in myself. You all will always have a special place in my heart."

"I would give you a 0, but that's not possible so I give you a 1. MOTHERS- DO NOT SEND YOUR DAUGHTERS HERE, unless you want to further traumatize them. The staff are all incredibly inexperienced and quite frankly- IGNORANT. These people are liars. I assume the insurance companies pay a pretty penny to this company to keep their patients for way longer than needed. My sister described this place as being "like a personal hell" and "like jail." STEER CLEAR."
