"I’m not exaggerating when I say this practice completely changed my life! As a competitive runner, I pursued many medicinal, prescription treatments for over a year when trying to solve my breathing issues. It was only after I was diagnosed with vocal chord dysfunction and began getting treatment at Advanced Therapy & Wellness that I finally found relief. Even more impressively, because my therapists approached my health with a holistic lens (much unlike the other doctors I had seen), they were also able to recognize and treat other underlying, yet related, issues like my tongue tie and swallowing patterns. Apart from being able to run faster, I’ve also gotten significantly less sinus infections (because of proper nasal breathing techniques), climbed high elevation (20K+ ft) mountains (once again aided by breathing techniques), and been able to very easily equalize my ears while SCUBA diving (by learning proper swallowing techniques). Overall, I cannot recommend Advanced Therapy & Wellness enough!!"

"My son was in NICU post-delivery and was placed on a feeding tube. Upon leaving the hospital, he was unable to latch onto the breast or feed from the bottle, and because of that he was struggling to gain weight. We decided to reach out to Margaret. At our initial evaluation, Margaret was very thorough and provided us with a lot of information regarding our son's feeding abilities but most importantly she recognized lip and tongue ties that were contributing to our baby's feeding difficulties. Margaret guided me through breast-feeding and gave us therapy exercises to help our son's tongue and lip muscle. When the time was right, Margaret refereed us to a specialist to evolute the ties. He had confirmed Margaret's initial assessment and recommended a release. After the ties were released, we worked with Margaret for several weeks on post-op stretches and teaching our baby how to move and use his tongue and lips correctly. I am extremely happy with all that Margaret has done for us. She is incredibly knowledge and is an excellent therapist. Because of everything she has done and everything she has taught us, our son is breast-feeding without any difficulties and is gaining. weight appropriately. Margaret and her staff are all extremely friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and I would highly recommend her practice to anyone."
