"Dr.Stroud is always the right choice. Myself and 3 of my kids have all been patients of him. He take his time and makes sure he covers everything so that you know all that is going on and answers all questions."
"Dr. Wyatt Weinheimer best ENT doctor. He took a good care of my son. After surgery my son was able to hear well and that helped with his speech delay. As the Doctor promised my son within six months he start speaking sentences. He is smart , kind and very respectful always willing to help his patients."
"Dr. Stroud took good care of my four-year-old daughter at the hospital during her surgery, and he and his nurse took excellent care of her in the clinic. AND I had the pleasure of talking to Dr. Weinheimer (a few times), as he was on call a few days after my daughter’s surgery. Dr. Weinheimer is a gem and I’m not sure we would have made it through the weekend without his guidance!"
"Beware of the billing department, I traveled nearly 150 miles to this office from rural New Mexico, the front desk had confirmed that my Blue Cross from New Mexico Medicaid would be accepted, I even handed them the card in person in the office in Amarillo Texas, I had a 15 minute consultation with Dr.Fichandler (he agreed I would need a tonsillectomy) at the end of the consultation he advised me that his office would follow up to schedule an appointment for said tonsillectomy. No appointment was ever made, I never received a call from this office afterwards, then I received an email, paper bill, and a text message stating that I had a past due balance that needed to be paid. I assumed that there was some sort of confusion because I handed them my valid insurance card at the time of the visit. After speaking with the front desk she told me that she made a mistake and that she assumed my Blue Cross was from Texas (although it clearly says New Mexico) and I was understanding, everyone makes mistakes especially in a fast paced office setting where you interpret information constantly. I asked for her to connect me with the billing department so we can sort this mess out. After waiting nearly 3 weeks to speak with the billing department (I believe they were out of the office) I was unapologetically told that if I did not pay the bill they will just send me to collections, and that they will not be remediating the mistake that they made. I specifically asked if my insurance was accepted and they confirmed they accepted the Blue Cross, with an office on the Texas/New Mexico border I would like to think the staff would be more vigilant of the situation at hand, especially when there are signs posted explicitly stating that "All payments are due at the time of visit" if this is the policy and all payments should be made at the time of the visit why was I assured there would be no payment and then sent a bill after the visit? Even after confirming to me that the office made a mistake (on a recorded line) they still refuse to drop the bill in which no medical supplies or procedures were used or performed."
"Dr Fichandler is amazing! He was great when I had my tonsils removed, explained everything and had a great bedside manner. He has been even more fantastic with my 2 1/2 year old! He always shows a great deal of patience with her, explains things to her in a manner a toddler can understand and has a great bedside manner with her as well. We suggest him to any friends who are looking for an ENT!"
