"I have been a long time member with border Federal and I have seen the Credit Union Expand and provide services to Eagle Pass and other nearby Communities. Border Federal has a professional staff that is proficient and know ledgeable with all my needs. I have my mortgage and Vehicle loans with BFCU and they were able to help me lock in my rates when they were low and make my payments more affordable. I continue to be a member at BFCU and I have referred a few friends that moved to Del Rio to become members. "this bank sucks they locked my account for suspicious activity and its a huge inconvenience that they dont have a way to verify your account without coming i work long hours and and not locked up in a office like they are i work in the heat and am not able to just run down there when they want me :|"

"Berder federal credit union has been my Banks sense I was little boy my mom put allowance money into. I’ve had it for over 30 years might’ve changed the account number once. they’ve always help me with my accidental overdraft they reverse the overdraft charge. Even though it was my fault they have the common courtesy to realize we don’t have enough money and cut us a break. "Disappointed at there way of making me stay with no active card, it expired before the new year & totally forgot about getting a new card. ( Everyone Has A Busy Life) So I called today and lady said oh you should have gotten one a month prior to your due date (which I didn't). Then comes back to say oh it said it was a bad address & I've gotten mail there before, which I didn't understand!? I never received call/email/txt saying my address needed to be updated or it was bad. I told her well I need a card & either I needed overnighted to me. Then wants to say its a $6 charge Haha now why, would I pay for them to send me a card when its their job? Right? I mean just the way they wanna charge $5 Royal Checking Fee. They should be able to wave the fee, but I had to make other arrangements for card to be sent to me. Get it under control BFCU."
