"I joined this amazing group of psychiatrist in 2016. Neuropsychiatric Associates of Austin, NPA, is a group of psychiatric physicians who share a strong commitment, in both service and spirit, to all those suffering from and affected by mental illness. The group was founded in 1972. As physicians, we ascribe to the biological, psychological and social model of disease. We attend to all facts of psychiatric illness including the physical health of the patient as well as the social relationships that construct the fabric of their lives. Psychiatric research has made great strides over the last several decades and mental illness can be treated effectively.
