About the Business

Anderson Arts Center

The Anderson Arts Center is a unique institution located at 6603 3rd Avenue in Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States. Situated on the grounds of a 17.5 acre Kenosha County Park, the center overlooks Lake Michigan and offers a variety of attractions including a conference center, historic chapel, Civil War-era mansion, observatory, arboretum, and fine art gallery.

The mission of the Anderson Arts Center is to preserve the historic nature of the site and buildings while promoting an understanding of local history and all arts. The institution hosts performances, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and special events to increase awareness of the arts and contribute to arts education in the community.

The center also supports and encourages the activities of other arts organizations within the community. Vice-President Jason Rasch from Rasch Construction & Engineering leads the institution, with members including Penny Enroth, Laura Belsky, Frank Sartor, Diann Root, Paula Touhey, and Robin Zagra.

"Anderson host ls Twilight Jazz on Tuesday evenings in the summer. Folding chairs and cheese slices, along with friends and the Greater community, always make the Art Center an excellent choice."
