"Amazing place!!"

"I went thru Boot camp there in 1975, company 364. That's a long time ago and if I remember correctly the company commander's name was Steven Yachew. It snowed the entire time with lots of drills and shovelling snow! Would rather shovel than pull kp in the largest chow hall the navy had back then. Orders to report to DDG23 Richard E. Byrd"

"I grew up here , I graduated 1986 Company 908 Ceremony Company. I arrived in Feb. and thought winter anywhere is the same ., guess again. I was wrong...Loved it here and will always remember having to pull duty securing an empty building..."

"Visited the RTC Museum during my daughters Navy Basic graduation. It was very interesting to learn a little about Navy history and the RTC's role in shaping today's Navy. Coming from an Army guy...its a nice place."

"We were here to see our nephew graduate from naval BMT, we were routed through the museum while in process to be seated. It was an informative and definitely made the wait easier. Would have liked to look around the base and see elsewhere but we were told that wasn't possible. We have been to many Air Force Bases but never a Naval Base It was however a great experience and one that will not be forgotten."
