"Like others below me have said, it's a great spot that was hidden until the further development of the mnt bike trails. I've been coming here for 23 years now & we all called it THE HUT...I still call it the HUT. PLEASE keep this place clean,& try not to set the roof on fire...which is what unfortunately happened about 15 yrs ago. Thank God a few of the "keepers of the hut" as I call us, was a professional roofer, & built it back better than ever."

"Awesome spot hidden deep in the woods. I stop here for a drink of water to rehydrate after I’ve been pushing my FULL SUSPENSION to the limits. Sometimes you run into some hippies tripping on acid back here. Overall this is a great pit stop while shredding PTS hardcore all day long."

"Me and a good friend snow hiked to the Stone House. We took an approach from the north and thru roughly a foot of snow. We had to essentially create our own trail to get there and were happy to rest once we found it. We then took the switchback trails out of their to the south. Lovely spot."
