"I really enjoyed the PA and the male doctor. They made me feel like they would help however my follow up was met with a female doctor who took over when the PA was talking to me. She was very dismissive and just said I was over weight and go on a diet. She said stress could cause my inflammation and when I advised I’ve been stressed my whole life andl have PTSD and was SA’d she asked who did it, very inappropriate and weird question to ask. I’ve never went to a rheumatologist before but I’ll never return here. I’ve been dealing with my pain for years and wouldn’t seek out help if it wasn’t at an all time high and my doctor referred me for a reason. Waste of my time."
"I would never recommend Dr. Prashanth Palwai. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for almost 20 years. I had a wonderful doctor in MN for all that time. Moved to Kingwood and it was not the same experience. From the first appointment Dr. Palwai Did not take my disease seriously. I made the mistake of being honest about having a couple drinks a week and from that moment on it’s all he focused on to the point of making me extremely uncomfortable and no longer focusing on my arthritis which is very serious. Noticing another woman’s similar comment on here would give me some serious pause as a woman choosing this doctor. There are so many to choose from in this area and you should never feel uncomfortable with your doctor. Please do yourself a favor and avoid Dr. Prashanth Palwai. The wait times were also terrible every time."
"Called them on the phone to make sure they were in network ahead of time. Drove 30 min straight from work to bring in my referral just for the to tell me I wasn’t in network with them. The girls behind the desk was smirking like it was a joke. Wasted my time completely."
"I have been going to Dr. Palwai for years. I drive about an hour and a half away but will not give him up. He’s very kind and knows his patience and cares about them. I would refer everyone to him. I’m so please with the service I receive from him."
"Very disappointed. I am an 18 year old female currently dealing with a possible autoimmune disease. I filled out the paper work in advance so that I would have a decreased wait time, but I waited for over half an hour. This is irritating but could've been overlooked if everything else had been phenomenal. The doctor did enter the room almost immediately after my vitals were taken, which was impressive. Nothing else was, unfortunately. I saw the male doctor here, and he pretty much dismissed everything I said and cut me off frequently. I felt as if he did not take me seriously because of my age, my gender, and my clothes. Only after I showed him a picture of the butterfly rash, a textbook lupus symptom, did he listen to what I had to say. The most infuriating thing was when this doctor had the audacity to insult and shun my lifestyle choices, telling me to change the way I live my life because "I have a future ahead of me." Of course, if he had medical reasoning behind this, it would have been fine, but that was not the case. He had a moral problem with something, and attempted to dig further into it. It was extremely unprofessional, rude, and uncalled for. I will not be returning to this clinic, and now I have to deal with attempting to find another rheumatologist who will take me seriously and discuss medicine & medicine alone. I just want to know what's wrong with me."
