"Its a standard community college campus, but the staff here are surprisingly friendly and easy going. The library is pretty small BUT there is a decent Houston public library located right across the street from here. The campus has nice study nooks scattered around the area but the area does get a bit sketchy at night, I would not want to leave my car alone during the last class hours of the night. The campus does not have very good public transit access so avoid this place if you heavily rely on the Metro to commute here. I would have to wait 20 minutes usually each night for the 077 bus to head here and the commute itself was pretty lengthy, not that its HCC's fault but it is still worth noting."

"Nice local "community college" branch location around town near the neighborhoods. It's a decent place for high-school aged kids and middle school kids to come by later in the week to "browse by" the campus. Place feels safe, small and "secure" as they have a few police security guards walking around the outside entrance and a police/security office inside. The campus feels like a small "middle school" with the classrooms and all even though it's a college. Everything is within a short walking distance and it's quite easy to find your way around after one or two days. Students and instructors seem to be good, decent people for the most part. This is a decent campus to attend if it's within your local college plan for what you're doing. I advise you come and "look-see" for yourself before jumping on the bandwagon. This place is a "transitionary spot" and folks come by and go; but don't stay. It's a slow, warm-up college "launching pad" for new college students. As of yet, this site is undergoing expansion construction so even though the campus is planned to grow and stretch abroad, the layout is still quite simple and memorable."
