Reviews
"Rolling mounds where the fort once stood. Decent views of the Mississippi, but certainly nothing special. Overall a small area and spent less than 10 minutes there. Definitely on the bubble of being worth the detour if out of the way."
"Ft Kaskaskia offers a spectacular view of the Mississippi River towards kaskaskia Island, farmland in the bottomland, and Sainte Genevieve in the distance. There is a large pavilion to have a picnic and there is a playground for kids to enjoy. In the fall the trees present a spectacular color display."
"I feel bad I didn't come in the fall when the foliage down would give a clear light of sight to the Mississippi"
"Beautiful piece of history with a gorgeous view. There’s no shade at all so we didn’t stick around long but definitely worth the quick stop."
"There is no actual fort at this site but you can see where the structure used to stand. The views are beautiful overlooking the river."
