"For a small town museum, this a really nicely done venture. The folks who volunteer their time are helpful and knowledgeable and want to tell you the story of their town, my favorite display was the horse drawn hearse operated by the town’s undertaker. The family has continued in the business through today, a hallmark of the small town model. Opening times are very limited so check the Mascoutah City page for the day and time to best plan a visit."
