"One of the psychologists speaks about her clients to other clients, and also gaslights them. She'll tell you one thing but if you confront her, she'll say that you're the one who actually said it. This is just an fyi to anyone who wants to go here. I remember almost everything she told me about her other clients. Talking about your clients to others is illegal and can get your licence taken away!"

"They need a different intake process. The first come first serve basis for mental health is a sick joke. 3 dedicated days, but not 100% you’ll be seen. Staff is something else too. The whole place needs retraining and implementation of better scheduling so they can work with people who need help without the hassle of their essentially “black. Friday” style intake. Arrive super early, wait with child in cold, paper work, possible appointment."

"Went in two days ago to get mental health assessment set up was told I could bring my 4-year-old. Walking today first thing and was told that I cannot bring my 4-year-old in for a mental health assessment. This place is an absolute joke I would not trust anybody here in this business needs to be shut down"

"Pathetic excuse for mental health services. They make you show up and wait in line for an ‘appointment’ just to be able to fill out paperwork!? This doesn’t make sense at all, and when I asked her to clarify the lady at the front was so so rude. I showed up at 7:15 am to stand outside in line, and was in the door by 8:02 am. They told me they have no appointments available today and that I can’t be seen or even fill out paperwork. Once again, not sure why they don’t just operate like any other similar place of business? Seems super extra especially when life is hard enough and people need help. Anyways… the old lady at the desk was so rude about it. I can’t understand how they are asking people with mental problems or issues to come here and deal with this?! This is my 3rd time here being turned away! I am a full time student and work full time. I am trying to better myself and this is not a way to handle business. I literally sacrificed time and had to commute across town so I could get here just to be turned away. Disgusting and honestly just really sad…. This town is running rampant with mental illness and people who need help and this is the only option?! Yikes. It’s really sad they are creating barriers for people to be able to access mental health services."

"I have been seeing Ed Betzelberger at unity point Pekin for a few years. He had been incredibly helpful and is definitely a team player rather than treating you as if your inferior like some mental health providers do. He is also accommodating and willing to do phone sessions if need be. The front desk personal (especially Teresa) are also very kind and professional. Finally, I’ve used their ERS system a couple times and they too are compassionate and helpful. Can’t say enough good about this place"
