"Brooke Army Medical Center can be more than okay when a patient and physician have the same goal: to improve their health and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I have had some doctors who ruined or make like more stressful for me. I have had a few doctors who went beyond to help me. The family advocacy worked really well at one point to advocate for patients' rights. Covid did change things but not that much. What affects BAMC or SAMC is the rotation of good doctors with doctors who think they know best and the patients do not. I think the Hospital Commander needs to take a more proactive approach. Yes, the Hospital Commander also rotates. What should matter is patient care, nothing else. People go there for services and because they are unwell. Overall, this hospital, is okay. The Pharmacy is fantastic."
