"I had an appointment with Dr Mukamana today for an emg. When she put the needle in my leg, the pain was so bad that I had to stop the procedure. She seemed to get upset with me when I told her that. My appointment was at 8:30 this morning. It's now 4:00 pm and my leg is still hurting. I called to explain the issue I was having. They said I should go to the emergency room and spend more money because of their negligence."

"This was the second time I went and the visit was more useless than the first. I saw Dr. Mukamana and paid my copay in advance. I was supposed to be going for an MRI with contrast so I hadn’t eaten and my appointment was at 1:20pm. At 2:20pm, I finally saw the doctor only to find out that this wasn’t an appointment to GET an MRI. It was to go over results from an MRI. I would have known that sooner, but the doctor never scheduled the MRI. It was never mentioned that the MRI was to be done BEFORE this visit and this visit was to go over the results. Now as upsetting as all of that was, the main reason I’m writing this review is because I called to reverse the charge I paid for the copay because I didn’t feel it was very right or fair to pay $60 to see the doctor for 5 minutes just so she could schedule the MRI that should have been scheduled three months ago. Basically they were saying they would not reverse the charge and would not even listen to the explanation. They HUNG UP THE PHONE. So, now this is going to be disputed AND I’m writing the review. They are awful and both visits were an absolute waste of time and money. Never received any sort of apology for them straight up NOT scheduling the procedure either. If you have literally any other option, take it."

"***Update: after 3 years of original review: My numbness and pain have completely gone! Thank you very much! June, 2023 This is the best place. I just finished my first appointment, and I wanted to give a good review. I was surprised to see all the negative ones, but my experience here was excellent. I have numbness and pain in my spine very soon after childbirth. My OBGYN thought it could be nerve injuries due to the epidural, so she referred me here to Dr. Benny Miller. I called the office the lady helping was very helpful and nice! She gave me an appointment in just 2 days later. On the appointment date, I arrived 12 minutes late pass their grace period. It was all my fault. I couldn’t get my new born to cooperate. I have a lot of difficulties as a first time mother, especially with lactation. I would have understood if they wanted to reschedule, I was in the fault, but the lady in the front took her time to go to the back and asked if they would still take me, and they still would! I couldn’t be more grateful for her kindness and understanding. We need more kindness in this world! We need more people like her. It’s not about calculating seconds and minutes, but about caring for the wellness of a person/ patient, and doing the best of your ability to help. May God bless her heart and protect her family! I got checked in really quick! The lady who got my vitals was also nice! And Dr. Benny Miller was amazing! He was one of the most caring, professional, nicest and friendliest doctor I had ever met. He made us feel very welcome and cared for! He also sent his congratulations and compliments to my newborn baby girl. Thank you very much! December 2019"

"Like most if these post a ZERO star is needed. Not because the doctor is bad, actually he was great, but the STAFF IS TERRIBLE! It's rare to get someone to answer the phones and if they do half the time they pick up and send you to voice-mail. They never return calls like they say they will. Dr. Millar told them to order a copy of my MRI and reports from my Doctor. NEVER DID! I gave them the information to the imaging office as well and they too never heard from River City. It took 5 months to get in to see the Doctor. He promised it would not take more than a month to see him again. That was January 31, 2023 and it's now March 21, 2023. I called imaging, got my reports and images in less than 10 minutes over the phone! What that staff has NOT got done in 7 months I got done with one call! Now I have the hour drive to the office to HAND DELIVER my images to his staff!"

"Love this office! Dr. Millar is the best listener. I never felt alone while waiting for a diagnosis. Him and his assistant are amazing. They responded in a timely manner to all my messages and phone calls. I feel great about my future treatments at this office. Extremely grateful that I found them when I did."
