I was referred to Heather by a family friend’s midwife, and after our first conversation I knew she’d be the one to deliver my baby. From our first appointment I immediately felt comfortable and cared for. She was so helpful, calm and uplifting throughout my whole pregnancy, answering every question and addressing any concern along the way. The night I went into labor, she was there to support me every step of the way without overwhelming me. After birth she was available to answer any questions and provide much needed support. I’m forever grateful for Heather and can’t wait to go through it all again with her when we choose to have our second! She truly is the best of the best!"

"Sad to say I had a traumatizing birth, however my review and rating is not impacted by that and solely based on the way my midwife acted during the events. She was not supportive and imbued negativity throughout the process. When we turned to her for advice and help, we got a shoulder shrug when we needed direction and encouragement and a reminder of why we wrote what we had in our birth plan. Unfortunately, it all fell apart and the midwife made the experience so much worse by not helping us stay strong and positive. Lots of judgement and negativity from her which darkened the air in the birthing space."

"Its hard to find the words to describe how incredibly grateful I am to have found Heather to be my midwife! From the beginning I felt a good connection, she was always available to answer my silly questions, inspired me to learn more about my health and gave me excellent prenatal care. I went into labor just a few days late. Heather checked in with me early on and helped me feel comfortable until hard labor started, then Kristina came and helped me until things got even more intense! At that point I remember looking up and seeing these 3 sweet faces just smiling at me, telling me what a good job I was doing. (It didn't feel like I was doing a good job!) They were all so calm and present. The whole time! I felt like I was losing it, and Heather just kept helping me stay grounded. Many hours later I got the urge to push and she told me to listen to my body. I felt like I couldn't help it, my body just knew what to do. Every time I started to get scared I would just look down at Heather and she made me feel like everything was ok. After about 40 long minutes of pushing she quietly said, "Madi reach down and get ready to catch your baby" I wasn't sure that I could do it, but as soon as my hand touched her head I got a rush like I've never felt before and next thing I know my baby is up on my belly! It was the best feeling in the world. My birth experience truly was the best experience of my life. I thank my midwives for taking such good care of us through the whole thing.
