"My husband and I visited this museum today and I loved it! I'm more into the oddities of life than my husband but he enjoyed it as well. For a small space it is packed full of interesting things. The owner was there and you can tell he really takes pride in his museum. He was extremely knowledgeable and very nice, easy to talk to. We live about 2 hours away but we will definitely be back!"

"This place is pretty awesome. They're only open on weekends and it took me several tries over the years to happen across it while it was actually open. $6 cash only. Lots of cool old torture devices and weird gags. If you know or learn how to lockpick you get a free bumper sticker."

"Two thumbs up for this museum that boasts a large number of exhibits chronicling human beings' terrible and inventive ways to punish, terrify, chastise, or evoke compliance -- everything from the mild pillory, stocks and dunking stool to the more persuasive burning of witches to iron maidens. My favorite is an authentic metal chastity belt with big, nasty teeth. (PS it is housed inside the Mineral Springs Mall.)"
