"This is the worst customer experience I've ever received from a medical group. The person who is supposed to handle billing is unresponsive and purposefully ignores phone calls. When trying to find any other person to talk to throughout this entire organization, every number listed on their website apparently leads back to this one person. Their mailbox is full so you can't leave a message. I called multiple times in a day with no callback. Reached someone over their lunch break who took my information down and told me they'd call back. They never did so I tried calling again and again and again. Who operates like this? I am owed a significant refund and if roles were reversed and I owed them money, they would never stop harassing us."

"Do NOT use this company. I set up a payment plan after getting my son's tubes in. The first month they double charged my card, causing me to overdraft. Then they continued to charge me the month after my payment plan was finished. They wont call you back, you have to call them to actually get stuff done. They leave your card in the system so it continues to get charged until you finally get the right department to remove it. They always seem to so this on a Saturday so I have to wait the whole weekend to get my money back."

"They did not give me all the documentation needed by my insurance company to file the claim, and when I tried to get the additional documents, I was constantly referred to a nurse who never answered the phone. My insurance company is standing by denying the claim because they have a contract with this provider, so THEY should have filed it, not me. I'm currently out $1500, and have no idea if I'll actually get it back. Their taxpayer ID also has a different name associated with it so have fun explaining that to your insurance company."

"I felt compelled to write a review here. We used Aegis for our daughters surgery. I know the drill, generally they call and collect the "estimated amount" prior to surgery (which is a complaint in itself), as I'm typically over billed and then due a refund and it's always a pain to get any kind of reimbursement from any medical provider. Well. I was shocked. Today I received my EOB from the insurance, and, no surprise here, I overpaid, luckily only by $26. But to my surprise, I also received an email TODAY stating they refunded my card for over payment!!! Wow!!! I was planning to call tomorrow and start the whole "I overpaid, now give me my money back I so kindly loaned you for 3 weeks" discussion. So, I'm pretty happy as this was a stress free experience. They lose 1 star bc they over billed. :-)"

"Terrible experience with this medical provider. They made me pay the entire price of the procedure in cash upfront and then made me file with the insurance myself. My insurance says that they are an in-network provider and are required by their contract to file the claim on my behalf and I should never have had to pay the full amount upfront. Now I'm fighting with Aegis to try to get my money back that they owe me, since my insurance says I overpaid. I still have not been successful after MONTHS!!! They owe me about $1500!"
