"inconsiderate of their clients feelings. very unprofessional when having to deal with any uncomfortable situations. Do not recommend unless you enjoy disrespectful behavior."
"I have struggled with my weight on and off for as long as I can remember, whether it was physically or mentally. January I decided to take charge and make some changes with the help of Midwest Massage Therapy and Wellness Center located in Geneseo, Il. The journey started off pretty well minus a few comments by the owner that rubbed me the wrong way. I paid $1,800 for the services provided so I tried to ignore those comments and move on. I kept my visits to 2-3 times a week and kept them short. On Monday Feb 5th I had an appointment for red light and the vibration plate. I finished the red light and moved on to the vibration plate. There was another young lady on the plate next to me. The owner/my coach Jennifer Fecht decided that that was the perfect time to ask what my weight was that morning at home, we used my weight from home so it was consistent and i was really good about getting on every day at the same time and always recorded it whether it was a loss or a gain. I reluctantly told her( since the young girl was still on the vibration plate next to me) and let her know that Sunday i did have a cheat meal so my weight was up a little. What happened next completely left me speechless! She started shaming me for having a cheat meal. At this point I am a little over a month in and down just over 20lbs and I had one cheat MEAL not a cheat day! She continued belittling me saying “oh is that what we are going to do.. yo-yo diet?”, “why did you cheat?”, “Now you are probably going to have to start the program all over!”. This whole time I am silent and really don’t even know what to say. The poor woman next to me had to be so uncomfortable as was I. I was expecting support not shaming from my coach. Yes I messed up but I am human and this is my weightloss journey!! I eventually responded with “because I wanted something different” in hopes to get her to stop. After I was done with the vibration plate she made another statement saying “ well I’m going to start weighing you here since it’s obviously not working having you weigh at home”. At this point I am beyond frustrated and just had her weigh me and I left. Throughout the day I could not stop thinking about what had happened! So I decided to send her a text to let her know how she made me feel that morning( photos in comments). After her response I decided I was just going to finish up the last 8 seasons and not go back. Fast forward to Wednesday Feb 14th. I went in for my session and barely spoke to her. I answered her questions with as short of responses as i could. It honestly was for the best. At the end she said she was going to switch which coach I see and I said I think that is for the best. Wednesday night I got a message from the other coach asking me to spread my sessions out to only two sessions a week instead of 3. I just wanted to be done so I politely declined and asked to keep my appointments as scheduled. Thursday Feb 15th I started getting emails of appointments being changed to different times than originally scheduled. Times which Jennifer knew I was unable to do. At that point I text and asked for a refund for the remaining appointments. No response! Then a little later all appointments were canceled. So I sent another text checking in, also no response. A little after 4 I received a phone call from the other coach letting me know they are terminating my contract. I said that was fine but they owned me a refund for the remaining 7 appointments. She was clearly reading off of a script and responded with “ well technically you have already used over the value of which you have paid since you bought a bundle”. I still have 7 of the 21 sessions I paid for and they are refusing to let me use them and refusing to refund me. Please save your money! There are other options out there and better coaching. I’m not the only one that has been treated this way!!"
"Hadn’t had a massage in years! I scheduled for a 90 minute appointment and I told my husband it was the quickest 90 minutes I’ve ever spent. Laiyla, my therapist was fabulous! She got me so relaxed I think I dozed off at one point!! Best thing I’ve done in years! Have already scheduled again in recommended time frame she suggested. I feel great today and can’t wait to go back!!"
"This place has you pay for services up front with a company called Cherry. 2k dollars mind you for package. Cancelled after two weeks as red light therapy was not doing what was promised. Asked for a refund for the difference of services NOT rendered. Office manager called, was very rude and quote: we do not offer refunds and since you signed with Cherry if you don’t pay you will be turned into collections and if you can’t pay you can just file for bankruptcy, we really don’t care” end quote. Terrible customer service when there is no refund policy in place. Was not told up front when signing that they did not offer refunds was told that we were signing for a certain package. It was our fault for not reading the fine print. Very deceptive."
