Reviews
"She's very rude, lacks empathy and sympathy, how can you be a doctor and have such bad people skills?"
"I have seen Dr. Ahlin for many years. In fact, I travel back from Florida to see her yearly. Her knowledge, expertise, and professionalism are well worth a 20 hour drive!"
"A year and a half ago, Dr. Ahlin did my C-section. Although I had a horrible experience with Loyola Hospital, this doctor was pleasant. She seems cold and distant, but I like doctors like that. I don't like doctors with fake smiles and fake concerns for the patient. She was professional. The cesarean wound is almost invisible. I don't have that stomach over the cesarean wound. It looks like someone drew a line on my stomach, and it's very low. I didn't have any problems. She came to my room after the birth to see how I felt. This woman knows her job and does it perfectly. The fact that she doesn't have a fake smile bothers some people."
"I ended up switching practices because of this doctor. She was very apathetic and condescending towards me. My family has a history of cancer and she made me feel as though it was my fault for not getting the gardasil vaccine despite the fact I was a teenager when it came out and had no say in receiving it. Despite making me feel this way, she still only wanted to see me every three years (and then later changed her mind when I brought up my familial history). She dismissed concerns I had with a simple- "we don't test for that here" with no other option or further explanation. It was difficult to ask questions because of her tone. Overall, I did not feel comfortable having my health and potential pregnancies in her hands. I left this practice and do not have any regrets."
