"We did the downtown pizza walk with Jon the owner and it was 3 engaging hours of interesting stories, history and (of course) a parade of pizza to eat. Yes we sampled deep dish but we also tasted 3 other styles that opened our minds to the diverse and delicious ever evolving pizza scene in Chicago. Full disclosure, we are a husband/wife team who run a pizza school in NYC so we’re particular about our pizza activities when we travel and this was GREAT — highly recommend!"

"We booked this tour as part of a company outing, and our entire team had such an amazing experience visiting different pizzerias with Jon. We visited Robert's Pizza and Dough Company, Labriola, and Bar Cargo, and it was very difficult to decide which pizza we liked best because they were all outstanding and all very different styles of pizza. Jon was an excellent tour guide and storyteller, and he had very engaging stories and facts to share with us about each restaurant, its origin, and its recipe/style. Jon is a true food enthusiastic and historian, and he was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating with respect to our booking. There is plenty to eat on this tour, so those who might be worried about the value, it's definitely there! Our crew was absolutely stuffed by the time we left the last location, and nothing hits like a belly full of great pizza. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Chicago area who loves pizza. I'm excited to visit each of these pizzerias individually, but I will definitely be taking this tour again in the future."
