"Do not go to here if you are expecting. I had gotten Dr. Mills as my gynecologist for family planning. I am high-risk and had a lot of complications in my past with pregnancies. She seemed great. However since I've gotten pregnant I have yet to see her. I've seen a nurse practitioner once. They are overwhelmed with their ultrasounds and had to send me to del or hospital (even that was a 2 week delay). It's hard to get an appointment with an actual doctor, even a month ahead of time. Every single time I call the receptionist's desk they have no idea what my history or my next steps are and it takes 30 minutes to figure out where I'm at in my care plan. I am 3 months pregnant have yet to see an actual doctor. Recently I asked for the natera prenatal screening test and they said that I have to call my insurance and wait for my next appointment. I expressed that I was very upset because they had not warned me to do that during my last appointment. The receptionist said I should've received a folder with instructions. I was shocked. I've never had such a hands off the doctors office who provides no guidance and does not communicate things verbally. Apparently I had to delegate my own pregnancy via the folder that they gave me. This is my fourth pregnancy and I've never experienced this type of negligence before. Another issue that I came across was that there was a confusion with my ultrasound. They scheduled me to have an ultrasound at the hospital because they couldn’t fit me into their schedule. I was called by a nurse practitioner with my results. Three weeks later I talked to the receptionist who said that apparently I wasn’t given the official results and they would be given to me at the next doctors appointment. She had no record of the call that they gave me. So now I have no idea how accurate this call was. Also they should’ve given me the official results as soon as possible. I’m shocked that it took so long for them to notify me of this."
