"After two appts and dealing with the rudeness of Brenda, and now seeing other reviews about her being rude to others. Come on Northwestern this is the customer service you want your patients to get greeted with from the start? First time, I let it go. Went in for my appt, go to the desk and it’s Brenda checking me in - I had my son with me, he’s 4 and very cheerfully, he’s saying hello to Brenda and Brenda just ignores him. I told her “it won’t kill you to say hello back” and then she stated “I didn’t hear him”. Now, about 3 weeks ago when I went in for my appt - I received the text to check in so I checked in through the link (I arrived 10 mins early too), went into the waiting room and sat there for 30 mins. While I’m sitting there for 30 mins, other patients are coming in and Brenda is greeting them all and calling them over to her desk, and I hate to make this a race thing, but coincidently all the other patients happen to be Caucasian and I was the only Hispanic there, Brenda’s desk is directly in front of the door so there’s no chance that she doesn’t miss a patient coming in. So I finally go up to the other receptionist and ask if she can check if I’m checked in, because it’s been 30 mins and other patients are being called and not me. She explained to me that the link doesn’t work to check in, regardless she got me checked in and apologized that I wasn’t greeted nor checked in properly. Wonder how many reviews about Brenda have to be made in order for her to get some proper training on customer service and diversity or let her go."
