"Lazy, dishonest, & completely incompetent; you’re better off having a house plant, a 1st grader, or a small dog do your taxes than Bill Agee. We dropped off our taxes in April, and didn’t hear anything for almost two months. When we finally reached out, the receptionist told us they would be done by the end of the next week. That day came and went, and nothing. The next time we called, the same thing. “They should be done on Friday.” Lots of Fridays came and went, and no updates, no returned calls, nothing. Eventually the voicemail was full and we couldn’t even leave messages. At this point we had also made a visit to their office to ask what was going on, and Bill was conveniently out running errands. His receptionist (who is 100% in on it; do not believe anything she tells you) said that she would pull out file and put it at the top of the stack for him to work on. At this point it’s August, and we still have not gotten our taxes from last year filed. It took another in-person surprise visit, combined with demanding that they give us the paperwork so we can take it elsewhere, and miraculously they were finished in 20 minutes. But that wasn’t the end of the story. Bill had submitted our return electronically, but when we checked on the IRS website for updates, it had no record of the filing. I called again, and the receptionist said “let me resubmit them, just to be sure.” Lo and behold, it showed up in the system the next day. After all of that, we found out that Bill had made a mistake; he had failed to notice the thousands of dollars in estimated quarterly payments I had already made, and because of this the amount he said we should receive as a refund was not correct. We are still sorting this part out, but if I could go back a year and warn myself, I would. Save yourself months of headaches, lies, and being given the runaround, and just find someone else to do your taxes. I can’t comprehend how this business is still in operation, since it seems from the reviews that he does this to almost everyone."

"This is your warning to go elsewhere for your tax needs. Dropped off my taxes in April. They did not get submitted until SEPTEMBER. My husband and I called numerous times during these months to check on the progress of our tax return, just to be told by the receptionist that “it will be done by Friday.” She told us this multiple times. We not once heard from Bill himself. We started going up to the location in person after their voicemail had been filled up, and we could no longer reach them. Every time we went in person, the receptionist would tell us that Bill is either “sick” or on “vacation.” He was never anywhere to be seen. My mother-in-law, the person who referred us to him, finally went up to the building in person and refused to leave.. and VOILA they were magically finished within 20 minutes. No apology, no explanation. Great. The taxes are submitted, now we wait for our return and this nightmare to be over with. WRONG. Bill failed to realize that we had made several quarterly payments on our taxes over the year and left that off on our paperwork. So we received a botched check in the mail from the IRS that we now have to shred and go through the entire process again of waiting for a new check to be cut and sent. It is now almost November and I still do not have my tax return. Bottom line is Taxpert is a joke. Not sure what’s going on, but I am convinced a monkey in a suit could’ve done a better job. There was no communication, no returned phone calls, no updates. Nothing. I am so disgusted and highly disappointed in how someone could treat another person’s money."

"I’ve used Taxperts since 2007. I’ve always had Ms Gloria do my taxes and it’s been a great experience. She made every effort to see that my returns were done both lawfully and at the same time assuring that I received every dollar of refund allowable by law... However, Ms Gloria has apparently retired. My tax return was prepared by Bill Agee in about 15 minutes. The result was most disappointing. I regret to say I cannot recommend Taxperts."

"DON'T DO IT! Just find someone else! They used to be awesome... but that last couple of years, it's been a nightmare dealing with these people. I don't know why it's changed, but I no longer recommend Bill & Gloria to anyone because they aren't dependable. They always say they have someone in their office when I call. They never ever return my calls. My taxes should've been done already, instead they filed an extension and refuse to do them... but they tell me they're working on them. Trust me, just find someone else or choose turbotax."

"Gloria has been doing my taxes for years and she is exceptional! They take the time to do things the right way and I am always very pleased knowing that they have gotten me all the money I am due. Great experience every time!"
