"It's taken me some time to process my experience with Dr simmons. So glad another Dr delivered my baby and not her. She was so focused on fat shaming my entire pregnancy and basically told me that my daughter would most likely be delivered by c section with complications or still birth. When using the Doppler to find baby's HB, she would have this disgusted look on her face. No wonder I had high BP the whole time in which she did nothing for to prevent with medication. Instead she would fat shame some more. So in a nutshell, if you are plus size, find another Dr."

"After 2 miscarriages between 6-8w, I asked Dr Simmons if there was anything that could be done to figure out why. She told me that treatments is usually reserved for women who have had 3 or more and to just try again. I have had one successful pregnancy through a diff OB I seen while Dr Simmons was on maternity leave. He had me take baby aspirin my whole pregnancy(from less than 5w-36w). I found out I was pregnant and reached out to Dr Simmons asking if I should start the baby aspirin again. She replied and told me to start it at 12w. I replied with my concerns. I then received a phone call from Toni (and spoke to her twice). She was very heartless towards my concerns and asking to be seen at 6w and 7 or 8w to see if I had miscarried(I had missed-miscarriages, also know as spontaneous abortion, so I had no symptoms and only found out due to 8w ultrasounds ) she just kept saying that there was nothing they could do anyway. I was then on the hunt for a new doctor. I now have a doctor/and midwife(they work together) that has already seen me three times, done 3 ultrasounds and ran labs on me. I am 8w today. They were able to get some results from my blood work and have started me on medications and supplements that they believe are going to help me to have a successful pregnancy. I would not recommend Dr simmons if you have ANY concerns or complications with pregnancy."

"I like Dr Simmons but she refuses to give me estrogen replacement. Says I should not be going thru menopause even tho everything I read says the opposite. Also my OB in Indiana said the benefits far outweigh the risks for someone of my age and I was on such a low dose but she still refuses. Currently I am miserable, constant dryness, urinary infections, mood swings list goes on and on. I'm going this week for another opinion."
