"Let me start off by saying that if I could give 0 stars I would. This location is definitely below par in terms of professionalism and quality. I will share my true experience the good and the bad on here. My husband and I came here thinking that it would be much easier to have our taxes done for 2 years instead of doing them ourselves. We tried to do taxes on our own but since we were both considered independent contractors, it was too difficult to manage on our own via an online tax site. Someone suggested H &R Block so we decided to give it a try for the first time ever. I will NEVER have our taxes done by anyone else ever again. This experience was the worst one I have had in years. The person that did our taxes took 2 week to complete them. In my mind I thought it would take 1 week to complete at the most. I really believe this person did this so they could charge us more money in the end. H&R block never prepared us for how much this would cost. We originally told them we did NOT have a lot of money to spend. In the end, we paid almost 1,000 dollars to have 2 years of taxes done! We were in shock! They did tell us that the starting cost was 66 dollars but did not state that it could potentially cost us 1,000 dollars to file! The person that filed our taxes was very nice and apologetic that it took so long to complete our taxes. Although she was apologetic, she did some things that were very unprofessional. First, she did not ask us enough questions to begin with. When we had the first meeting to drop off our information/paperwork she did NOT ask us if we had children to write off, if we paid out of pocket for healthcare or if we owned any property. After 2 weeks she called us stating that she "needed more information". We were in dismay! We reluctantly went in after 2 weeks and spent another 3-4 hours telling her information so she could complete our taxes. Our tax rep seemed put out that she had to stay after hours. Honestly, she did some unprofessional things. She threw away our personal information instead of shredding it which makes it that much easier for identity fraud if someone were to dig through their trash. Secondly, she threw away some paperwork that we needed to refer back to and had to dig through the trash to get it! H&R block needs to do more training and auditing of the properties to make sure they are up to par! I have recently learned by my own research that our 2019 taxes were NOT accepted. We went to H& R block back in March and I learned through the IRS website that 2019 taxes never got accepted- in fact they got rejected. I really believe that H&R block needs to reimburse me partial payment since all of this occurred. I did not pay 1,000 dollars just so my taxes could get rejected-this had caused more of a headache than if I did them myself! I have called H&R block 5 times since learning that 2019 taxes got rejected and they keep telling me the same thing "We will give you a call back" and they NEVER do! I am so put out by the representatives! The representatives that answer the phone are very rude as well! They sound like I am inconveniencing them by asking for them to look in my profile and tell me what I should do so my 2019 taxes can be accepted. The representatives also show disrespect- one even kept calling me hon! "I don't know hon, I well leave a message hon". No customer should be called "hon"- people have forgotten all about customer service and how to show respect to people! If I do get a call back to fix my 2019 taxes it will be short of a miracle. This location needs to be audited, safety measures of people's personal information need to be put in place and training needs to be given on how to show the customer general respect! I will NEVER again take my business to H&R block-this has been one of the most drawn out and negative experiences with a business in my life!"

Especially when it comes to filing and receiving the money in your life that produces the certainty it's done right.
