"Great location. We really enjoy staying here although I did miss wifi and it could use a little sprucing up. Nothing that will keep me from returning next year."
"Filled out reservation online and received no answer. Two days later I called, left a message and again, received no answer. Photos look nice, but did not get the opportunity to visit."
"The cabin (#1) was spacious, sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed - toiletries, towels, well-equipped kitchen, washer/drier, comfortable beds, clean-smelling blankets and bedding. The hot tub was excellent (towels and all the cleaning supplies were provided, but don't forget to read the instructions on how to maintain the quality of water after using it). I loved that the sofa/futon and the comfy chair in the living room did not have fabric upholstery since I am a bit of a germaphobe and being able to wipe the leathery surface was important to me (especially during Covid-19). There is also a gas grill and a fire pit with firewood ready to be used. The front porch with a swing and rocking chairs is a perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon. Keep in mind that there is a rather steep gravel road right before you reach the cabin. We really appreciated that the owner fixed the ridges and holes that appeared on the road after several severe storms. The cabin offers perfect privacy and peaceful quietness. Just make sure to get all food and drinks before you settle in for the day since it is about 15-min. drive to the closest store (there is a convenience store near by but we were not sure about the opening hours in the evening). Bring some bug repellent - the horseflies and mosquitoes were obnoxious. No wifi and AT&T mobil signal only outside, but no problem for us. The owners were great - friendly and helpful. They communicated promptly and answered all of our questions. Thank you Jan and Jessica! We will be back! P.S. If you go, don't forget to play the "hide a dollar" game. :)"
"We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the peace and quiet! Perfect place to stay to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle! We enjoyed the hot tub. We thought the hidden dollar game was really cool ! I would highly recommend for a weekend getaway! We definitely didn’t mind not having WiFi because we wanted a peaceful weekend to ourselves ❣️ We loved this place & would definitely return for a staycation again!"
"This is such a cozy, comfortable log cabin with everything you could want. There is a screened porch with a large hot tub, a great fire pit and a great weber grill. The road through the woods to the cabin truly give a sense of retreat and privacy. We have stayed at the cabin for 5 years."
