"Didn’t keep appointments or return calls. Did not advise on how the H&R support worked or what I should expect. They processed my documents until federal filing day then had no one available to review with me. I had a multi year return and was depending on H&R Block to do me right as they had in my time in MD, but not this location. I feel they shouldn’t have taken me on as a customer. I contacted another H&R location, 1432 Austin Highway, who returned my call and was willing to take over the account. I should have taken the opportunity but gave the Vance Rd location a third chance, they had my documents. This was a mistake. Norma Cox was helpful in person but at no time was this office able to plan to accommodate me. In the end, I was trying to review 5 years of taxes with the courteous receptionist in the lobby. That’s when I realised my mistake. What Norma and I discussed and what was presented were very different (file in AL vs not filing in AL, a huge difference). I could not tell if all my deductions were accounted for. I purchased one (out of desperation) of five years of filing because I couldn’t trust the results. I cut my risk and will file another way later."
