"Great new location, and we were in and out, with some serious extra coinage in our pocket. Yay!"
"Great customer support from beginning to end of the process. The service is fast and straightforward. Love the peace of mind tax Audit-Protection feature!"
"The new app changes with no explanation are horrible. I've used H&R block for years but clearly you have a bunch of people who don't have to make their beds let alone file taxes online doing your app programing and no one is paying attention. Very frustrating considering the money I paid which is WAY too much for a self service process. NOT HAPPY."
"The company is a scam but the people are nice. 1st year filing jointly married so my wife and I decided to have a professional do our taxes. So we go in with everything we think we need to file our taxes. We learn there is a section for student loan debt so we go home track down the form and come back. The very nice rep who was helping us has gone home for the day when we get back. No worries they transfer us to another rep (also nice). Goes over every inch of the forms the 1st rep while we wait for them to get done double checking. They put in the form we came back with and assure us it's all set. We head home with the peace of mind that we got everything done and if anything else comes they can take care of it and all it cost was... $135!!!! we know my wife's parents put her on insurance for 1 month January. Weeks later we get a letter from the IRS informing us we need we have to file a 1095-A not knowing what that is we head back to h&r block and the let us know it's for insurance. Sweet. We track that form down and bring it. Silly me I must have forgotten to bring the letter too. So they tell me I need the letter and I go back home and get it. Upon returning they so kindly inform me that it will me an additional $35 to do that form. I kindly ask for my form back and leave. Deeply lamenting the waste of $135. We just needed to print 2 papers we could download for free and fax them to the number in the letter. If we had filed online ourselves it would have been even easier. We wasted so much time driving and waiting in their office that it would have saved us so much time effort and money to just do it ourselves."
"I would leave zero stars, but I cant. What should have been the sign that this place was no good, I ignored. I went to them in April to make the 2016 tax deadline and no customers were there. not one. I spoke to a female tax preparer who was rude and condescending when looking over my taxes. She acted like my 1099 taxes were useless to file because I didn't make enough money, as I was a start up business owner at that time. She told me it would be too expensive to file. I said I didn't mind, as I wanted to make the deadline and was willing to pay whatever necessary. She all but told me she would not do it. She then proceeded to get up and motion to the door. Personally, I don't make a habit of staying where I'm not wanted, so I take the hint and leave. As I got up, she practically walked on the back of my heels with her breath on my neck, telling me I couldn't be helped. She walked me out the door, as if she were immigration police. There is a reason why this location was empty. I went on to have a tax accountant do those same taxes and I got a $2000 refund!!!! I am not sure if she just didn't know how to do self employed taxes or if she was racist. Either way, STAY CLEAR FROM THAT LOCATION!"
