"VERY disappointing. Been using H&R Block for 40 years. Never been so dissatisfied. Great service until this year. 1)Tax preparer was an HOUR late for the appointment. (No, not because prior appointments ran long. He wasn’t even there. I watched him stroll through the parking lot.) 2)When asked what was spent on books for my child’s college, I responded that I had no docs. Told me to guess. I provided an amount. He kept inputting higher amounts to see results. Just input what I said! Stop playing with the numbers!! 3)My husband died in 2022. I brought a death certificate. I was asked for nothing else. Nothing. Surprise, surprise. ( not really) I’ve been contacted by the IRS for the first time ever! An additional Form is required when filing for a refund which includes a deceased taxpayer. One would expect a tax ‘professional’ to be aware of what is required. Guess I’ll save myself $$ and use online services. I can’t do a worse job… Update:Interesting, one year ago, poor reviews were receiving somewhat personalized responses. Now? Every poor review receives a copy/paste response. Looks like it’s time to close this location."

"Blake the manager here is the worst. He is a liar and will not call you back like promised. DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION. I AM STILL TRYING TO GET MY ISSUE RESOLVED. This location failed to tell me my taxes were rejected and then I got a $2000 penalty. Blake will not call you back and he avoided all my calls and voice mails. If you try to call the 1800 # they will tell you they are no help."

"Would give 0 stars if possible. My girlfriend requested a Spanish speaker as she is a Venezuelan immigrant and felt more comfortable discussing the process of filing taxes in Spanish instead of English and instead they provided an English speaker who had no knowledge of the tax agreement between Venezuela and the United States. My appointment was never scheduled. Even though I booked an appointment at the same tine as my girlfriend for the same date they instead booked it for the same date that I was in there scheduling....if I can't trust you to schedule correctly how can I trust you to file my taxes correctly 0/5"
