"*CUSTOMERS BEWARE* I am in from out of town, taking care of my 90 year old Dad, thought I would be going back home 3rd week of February, Unfortunately his health declined and I haven't been able to go back home. I called Jackson Hewitt 2 days ago inquiring about using them at a Walmart location, I was told they had already closed the location, the closest location was 410 & Ingram Rd. Don't know the name of the lady I spoke to, due to all the stress I am under, going back and forth to the hospital. Even discussed this with her. She was very kind. I asked the price she quoted $99.00, to which I said at walmart it's $65.00, she told me I would be able to get that price. I agreed and set up an appointment. Decided to use them as it was cheaper than another quote I had for $99.00 elsewhere. Had my taxes done this evening after leaving the hospital. When all done I was told it would be $256.00! I explained what I was told 2 days ago. She said that expired this week. Which was NOT what I was quoted. I said no, I should be paying the price I was quoted, to which she said no. She contacted her supervisor Stacey and Vincent both via computer, who said I could get $50.00 off. I said no, I was told $65.00. I would not have used them if I wasn't told $65.00 because I had another quote for $99.00. I picked the cheapest price. She communicated with her supervisors again, they told her $200.00 of course by this time they had completed my taxes, I had no choice but to pay them $200.00, $135.00 more than I was told,. She said I should have gotten the persons name, had I thought I needed it, to get what I was told, I would have gotten it. She also felt like I was getting a DEAL by getting $56.00 off. DO NOT TRUST THEM BECAUSE WHEN YOU GET THERE AND THEY HAVE COMPLETED THE JOB THE JACK THE PRICES WAY UP. CROOKED WAY OF DOING BUSINESS!"
