"An organization dedicated to helping and promoting the town of Nashville, Ill., and the businesses of Nashville. The Chamber is made up of members who own or are employed at those area businesses, and is governed by a board of directors elected from those owners and employees. At the time this was written (August, 2017), the board included Tom Speedie – President; Letisha Luecking-Orlet – Secretary; and Darlene Schomaker – Treasure. Other Board members are Sara Habbe, Cathy Dinkelman, Jennifer Szopinski, and Karen Droste. The Chamber has one employee on staff, who is responsible for running the day-to-day functions of the organization, Chamber Director Doris Povolish. In addition to promoting the town and businesses and providing about them, the Chamber also sponsors several events throughout the year, including a chicken and beer dance, a moonlight madness shopping event, a golf scramble, and their biggest event of the year (and one of Nashville's biggest events), The Fall Festival, held annually in the area around the Washington County Courthouse on the final weekend of September."
