"I was in the area and tried to find a place to have lunch, I saw this place , it was cute outside, inside they have shows and like I understand the kids it’s not allowed, but there was no sign, because the atmosphere was not pleasant with many suspicious looks, I took my order to go , I was eating my food in the car and the burger tasted like mold . Maybe during the summer it’s a cute place to have lunch outside, but pay attention to the food."
"Small intimate pub , love the small venue , was able to get up front and watch my fav up and becoming artist , Troy Cartwright ! The opening act was amazing as well ! Ordered the garlic tots , and chicken quesadilla , was a good proportion , regular pub food vibe ! Drink special “ Pomelo was good ! “"
"Saw a show here. It's a small venue but a lot of fun. They don't allow moshing or "slam dancing". The food was ok. I had the Thai chicken pizza. Fries were better"
"I love The Beag kitchen, there's a bit of allure here that makes a cool local show seem a bit more intimate. The concert area is large but not grandiose, small without being stuffy. I've played here and the sound people are nice, they give the bands a reasonably generous "green room", although last time it was broken, so it was in a stuffy basement which was out of sorts. I like the food but it's a bit too expensive since the Beat Kitchen is known more as a venue than restaurant. It's clean, but not painstakingly clean. It's good food but not absorbitantly good. It's great sound and good time. Bands that would otherwise be out reach on big stages can be a few feet away from you here which is awesome. Hope this keeps going. The parking is Chicago tough, you'll likely find yourself on a side street"
"Great bar, great music, great drinks. Hard to find a better deal than here. The audio quality was fantastic, all the bands sounds clear and not overbearing like other similar places. Definitely go see a show here, even if you don’t know them! You’ll either leave loving the band, the bar, or both."
