"I had a rough start with Dr. Peters but gave her the benefit of the doubt and decided to stick with her for a second appt. I had a miscarriage before my first appointment with her. Instead of us letting me come to the office for bloodwork, she made me go to the emergency room and wait 8 hours to confirm that I had miscarried. She couldn’t even be bothered to talk to me on the phone. I was sobbing and could hear her in the background giving instructions to the secretary. Fast forward a few months later and I had another miscarriage. I was absolutely devastated and she could not have cared less. I called and said that I was worried I was miscarrying and she basically told me I was paranoid (she never spoke to me directly, this is all through the RNs and messaging). I asked to come in for labs and she told me that I to wait until my appointment the following week TO FIND OUT IF I HAD LOST MY BABY! I went to a quest lab and paid for my own labs to determine that I had miscarried, again. When I called to tell her she didn’t even call me back - no condolences, nothing. Dr. Peters was extremely condescending to me on multiple occasions. I am an RN and the hospital that I had worked for prior did things a little differently. When I would ask questions about her hospital’s policies or the way she provided care she would laugh and give a snarky response. Like I was an idiot for asking. She made me feel bad at majority of my visits. She I also had a hard time finding my baby’s heart tones. A couple of times I told her that I heard the heartbeat (which I did) and she would say that she couldn’t find it and send me for an ultrasound. I have lots of experience with dopplers. I used them daily at my previous job. Family members that came to my appointments said that she lacked compassion and it was obvious that she didn’t really care. I was so relieved to find out that her due date was before mine and she would not be working when I went into labor. I hope she doesn’t continue to make other women feel the way I did under her “care”. She should be ashamed of herself for the way she treated me while I was grieving the loss of my pregnancies."
"Dr Peter’s delivered my baby via C-section and she has been there for me since day one of seeing her. Thank you Dr Peter’s and your incredible staff for taking care of me and my baby."
"Had a leep done and it hurt really bad. I was crying and she says “we have two options either deal with it today, or go to the hospital to be put under” it’s not what she said, it’s how it was said. Then I had really bad bleeding and clots after procedure and she acted very non compassionate. My sister is 4 weeks postpartum and she mistakingly gave my sister a pap and pelvic exam, why sister said it hurt, and she goes to tell my sister “ now I see why you had to have a c section “ she is not compassionate or caring to her patients at all."
