"Dr. Guerra is my Internal Medical Dr. It’s always a pleasure to be seen by such a professional caring doctor. Dr. Guerra always goes above and beyond to fulfill patient expectations. He considers examining the patient as a whole medically and emotionally taking the time to ensure ALL aspects and needs of the patient are met before walking out of the examination room. I feel very fortunate to be one his patients."
"I went in for for a follow up visit after a hospitalization. I was originally scheduled to see Dr. Guerra but due to his busy schedule I saw NP David Barron. Mr. Barron was very nice he went over all the documentation from my hospital visit, answered alll my questions and explained to me what exactly my body had been through. He also explained the reason for the medications I was taking and how the medication was going to help in my recovery. He asked how I was feeling and if I had any new symptoms. He prescribed some medication to alleviate one of the symptoms from the medication. He checked to see if I was missing any labs and gave me orders for what I was missing I left the office feeling well informed and felt I had a good understanding of the reason for my hospitalization and had peace of mind on bu how my recovery was going was going. I highly recommend David Barron If I had to give David a grade it would be 100% I also have to mention the MA who took my vitals and did my pre - assessment was very nice and listened to all concerns. Mara the other medical assistant is super nice and always answers my questions and concerns The only unpleasant experience I had during my last visit was with the young lady at the front desk was not very nice.as i signed in she quickly said it looked like the reason for my visit was for something COVID related I was little embarrassed that she would say something like that out loud in a room full of patients waiting to see there doctor. Everyone in the room looked at me like I was a contagious disease after she said that. I informed her I was there for a follow up visit after being hospitalized. I informed her I had already signed in on line and paid my co- payment I sat down and she proceeded to call me again and inform me I had an outstanding balance, at the time I was on a call with another doctor’s office and I asked her give me a fe minutes and i would review my balance, then she proceeded to call me again an informed me, there was a 15min window and that she would have to cancel and re-schedule my appointment. I was confused, because to my knowledge my appointment was at 1:00 pm I had already signed in on- line as well as physically sign in at the front desk on the sign in sheet @1:00 pm she proceeded to tell me she needed to collect a payment for the balance in order for her to complete my check in. This is not the first time I’ve had an unpleasant experience wit the front desk staff. they are not the friendliest with patients and feel they go out of their way to discourage patients from being seen. if this is patient customer service at it’s finest, the office manager really needs to re-evaluate the front desk and offer some sort of training on patient customer service go over HiPPA, patient privacy, courtesy and empathy As for the Medical Assistants the NPs and Dr. Guerra I give them a 100%"
"What a wonderful experience I had with a “real” doctor! He didn’t hesitate to discuss my medications again after he had finished the first consultation! He had me brought back to the room to go over medications again! What doctor does that now-a-days? Only Dr Guerra!"
"Have always had great experiences with staff until today. My mom is a patient of Dr Guerra and she gets prolia injections every 6 months, she has for years. Today they did not want to administer it since it was a week early. The medical assistants were saying to come back next week. Other times they have given it to her 2-3 weeks early. Also I have asked a couple doctors and pharmacists if it can be given earlier and all have said there is no issue."
