"From the moment I walked in; front desk personnel, valet, bell stand, room service and dining rooms. Every staff member is trained properly. Special shout out to Darrin. Magnificent restoration of 100 year old hotel! Nick"

"A Very classic Hotel with a lot of character, if you love the early 1900’s this is it. Rooms are spacious and you can find everything you would need at home, very well equipped. It’s lacking a window view and you need to play with the thermostat during winter to get it to where you want it, but once is set, you will love it. Easy access to everything in downtown. Service is fenomenal and food and stores are great. Highly recommend this place."

"The ambience is amazing, with old aristocrat vibes. Has a shoe shine guy and hair salon as well in the lobby. Lots of pop up restaurants, high tea, coffee shop. Definitely worth spending an evening here, do take bookings before you go though."

"My daughter and I were guests at this iconic hotel last week. The experience started the moment I walked in. Jenna the front desk employee greeted me with a warm smile, immediately found our reservation she answered all my questions, is without a doubt a valuable employee. We enjoyed two breakfasts in the City Hall, again service was great, employees engaged and committed to ensuring all was as ordered. I did not get the name of the gentleman host but he kept things running smoothly. I so enjoyed the atmosphere during our entire stay. Kudos to staff and management this kind of hospitality is rare. Gracias"

"Oh my gosh! Where to start with this amazing hotel... My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for 4 nights about 2 weeks ago for an anniversary. We did not want to leave! While we were given an upgrade, the room was one of the largest rooms we have ever stayed in. I do not remember her name but the girl that checked us in was so accommodating and we were so grateful for the upgrade. We tried all of the restaurants and bars at this property including the rodeo bar (many times) city hall for breakfast each morning, the french room, pool bar and the coffee shop on the first floor. All were so unique and wonderful in different ways. Shout out to the French Room bar for making some of the best cocktails we have ever had! All of the staff working at this hotel was so kind, fun and helpful. The young girl and guy duo that were working at the pool bar on Friday evening towards closing time were so fun and gave us great tips on things to do while we were in Dallas. We very much enjoyed talking with them that evening. I noticed a lot of reviews mentioned the elevators not working and while our room was on the 22nd floor I was worried about this but we didn't have any issues with that either, all worked fine throughout the stay. I also had the pleasure of getting a spa service while I was there and that was great as well. I believe her name was Heather (I have to get better at remembering names while traveling) We very much look forward to returning to Dallas and more importantly staying at this hotel again in the near future!"
