"All State Insurance is the worst insurance company. Here is my story. In June 2021, my Downers Grove house was hit by a tornado, along with several other homes in the neighborhood. At the time, AllState was my insurance company. An AllState inspector came to my house to inspect the damage. He brought along a public adjuster. This man was Mario Misceo, the owner of Trapcom. The AllState inspector highly recommended Trapcom to me and vouched for Mario, claiming that he has worked as a public adjuster with AllState for a long time. Trusting AllState, I signed the contract with Trapcom. Trapcom would represent me to work on my claim with AllState and fix all the damage to my house. I would release the funds from AllState once Trapcom finished the job. This was, in plain words, a scam. The contract stripped me of my rights to talk to AllState about my claim. If there was a lawsuit, I would have to pay Trapcom a lawyer fee and all of the court costs. Trapcom did not own any responsibility nor was there a timeline to complete the repairs. Trapcom did not fix anything on my house. When I told him that my chimney was leaking and water dripped from my living room ceiling, he hastily covered it with a plastic tarp 50 days after the fact. This tarp stayed for less than 24 hours. It then took him 20 days to come back to fix the tarp on my chimney. Again, it stayed only for a few days. After that, he refused to do any work outside of continuing to bill me and sending me invoices for the shoddy and minimal work he had performed. He also put a $2,000 lien on my house and threatened me with it. I made calls and sent emails to AllState to explain my situation and to ask for help. Everyday it rained or snow on my rooftop melted, I have had to use buckets to catch the dripping water in my house. Due to the exposure to the elements, mold began growing from the roof and spread into my house. It is everywhere. To make matters worse, my elderly parents live with me. My father caught pneumonia and he was in poor health. He passed June 2022. AllState continued to not take action and kept telling me I have no right to talk to them. About my own case, no less. Later on, they stopped responding to my emails and phone calls entirely. Then AllState closed my claim. I filed a complaint to the Illinois Attorney General Consumer Fraud Bureau. The agent contacted the AllState claim department manager. The manager admitted that it is illegal to bring a public adjuster to me. The selection of a public adjuster is supposed to be independent and unbiased. The State Attorney handling my case asked the manager how they planned to fix the problem. While waiting for the answer, the AllState claim department manager was transferred without any notice. When the State Attorney agent called the new claim department manager, she couldn’t reach them. The phone call either was dropped or was transferred for more than two hours. Finally, State Attorney agent reached the new claim department manager and required information for my claim. Two months passed, We do not receive any information. The State Attorney agent will keep working on my case and has referred my case to the Illinois Department of Insurance. Almost one year has passed since my home has been damaged. Worst of all, the damages grow larger and larger each day."
"Since I’ve had Allstate I haven’t needed to use you. On Friday I hit a pothole and bent my rim/blew out my tire. It was 7pm and I was in Indiana. I did not have a spare so I needed a tow. I was quite distressed that I had to figure out how to ask for help on your app. I was not sure of my location exactly so I filled out the tow request and was told I’d be towed around 10:15pm. A police officer helped me out by giving me my exact location. I called the tow company and they made me cancel because “they could not change my location in the system”. I was literally on the south side of an exit vs. the north side. I was quite upset and crying. I had to redo the entire process. The fact that there was no phone # for me to call to get personal assistance was troubling. I was NOT in a good area, per the policeman, and I was trapped there alone for hours. I think asking everyone to use an app is not realistic or fair. Some of us are older and not tech savvy. I would reconsider your emergency assistance process if I were you."
"Elizabeth's team is so helpful! They're always easy to talk to when you have questions or issues. I wish all things I needed help with for my house or car were as well run as her team's service. Not a lot of places still have customer service like they do."
"Fantastic customer service, questions are answered immediately, quotes on insurance are answered promptly, I have had Allstate on and off my entire life, but intend to keep them from now on because of the great service I receive from this particular office."
