"VERY rude people to work with. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. What sounded like the owner, accused me of not paying The service call fee. If it was legitimately missed required required before they came out, I would’ve gladly paid them. Instead, The owner was yelling at me on the phone accusing me of being a thief, when they never came out and did anything. He never apologized or tried to make amends. Keep in mind, these are the people my warranty company hired. So beware and don’t do business with these people."
"Guess the other reviews are not wrong. I called Choice Home Warranty for tow issues: whether a built-in oven inner glass would be covered for replacement and rusty dishwasher racks. Choice Home Warranty said only the oven inner glass would be covered and not the rusty dishwasher rack. So they sent out a technician from JB Services who I called beforehand and specifically described the issue to avoid having him come out just to mark down the oven make and model number whose inner glass would have to be ordered for replacement. They said it was a requirement for him to come to the property and take a look. He came in, in 30 seconds marked down the model number, and said he would order the part if I paid the $65 service fee. So I paid. Then a day later Choice Home Warranty denied coverage even though the issue was the one originally discussed on the phone. After several attempts I finally got a return call from JB Services 3 days later and I informed them that I would still want the oven repaired at my own expense. They said that they had yet to order the part and that the $65 already paid would not be applied toward the total. Never heard this from any other company, they rather keep $65 for doing nothing than $185 for half an hour of work (the time needed to replace an oven glass) including the $65, but I guess there is a first time for everything. Neither company would take responsibility for refunding the $65. So here we have TWO UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANIES working together to take people's money for doing absolutely NOTHING. As a result I will not do business with either moving forward."
"I have had the most WONDERFUL experience with JB Services! Jasmine was so nice and wonderful and my service technicians, Alex and James were TERRIFIC! James was VERY knowledgeable and personable. They kept me up to date with phone calls and repair times. I felt safe with them in my home. They were respectful of my home and truly CARED about the service they performed and the customer service given. James answered all my questions and Jasmine made sure I everything came together nicely! I've used them twice and it was the BEST home repair service I have ever used. *Dryer and oven repair. *Side note: not sure if this matters to you - they wear shoe covers, face mask, and gloves without asking!"
"DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME USING THEIR SERVICES. They were assigned to my Choice Home Warranty claim for oven repair. This company has horrible service, they DO NOT answer the phone because they have one person, Jasmine answering the phones who says she’s the manager and co-owner. They miscommunicate with the home warranty company, and do not return calls. I can’t believe that a home warranty company would work with a contractor like this. On the day of my appointment, the technician advised it could take 3-5 days to receive the part online but offered to find it in store. I asked him to please let me know as soon as he could so that If he could not find it, I could make other arrangements ahead of time for thanksgiving as we are expecting 20 people at my house for the holiday, he assured me he would. I never heard back from him until today after continuously following up with Choice Home Warranty. Jasmine did end up calling me today after all the commotion and was very unprofessional and dropped my claim Today, the day before thanksgiving Because I had concerns with them not answering the phone to keep me updated. Instead of trying to resolve the issue she said she’d return my claim and hung up. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I will definitely do my research in the future and be mindful to choose a REPUTABLE contracting business."
"Very poor quality work. Took $345+ to repair my Stove top Gas Range. One of my burner was not working so I called them thru a warranty company. They replace one burner with a new one. In two weeks it started lighting up by itself. Lucky we were home so we shut off the main gas line. Called a different company. We were home otherwise we were planning to go out for a week vacation....don't know what would have happen. I will not let them enter my house ever again. Very dangerous - I think the authorities in concern should revoke their business license and registration for doing business in Texas."
