"Galloway put in all the plumbing for my builder in new house we moved into 2.5 yrs ago. We are in Riverdance development in Keller. Westpoint Living was the builder. In Jan 2021 we discovered two different major plumbling leaks that, according to the plumber who did the repair, had been leaking very slowly for a "long time" due to either faulty parts or improperly installed parts when house was built. The warranty for plumbing was up after 2 yrs...about 5mos before we found the leaks / damage. It ended up costing me more than $6000 to repair leaks, dry out house, & replace/paint sheetrock for both areas of the house that were damaged. This should not happen to a 2.5 yr old, $500,000 house. I would highly recommend anyone buying home in which Galloway has done the plumbing, pay to have their own inspector look at all plumbing work before having sheetrock & insulation put in."
"We've had Gallaway's out several times over the last five or six years. They installed our new water heater, fixed a broken pipe -- even hurried out and fixed the cold water faucet to our washing machine on a Friday when the cheapo handle the previous owner used broke. We've always been very impressed by their work and by their willingness to respond quickly in emergency situations. The washing machine was particularly dire -- we had a new baby, cloth diapers and we had to shut down the water to stop the water spray. Going a weekend without a washing machine OR water wasn't something we could do. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, because I've never, not once, been asked to pay for a project before it was completed. They've done all the work for my BIL and SIL, too, and no mention of anything like that, either. One other thing of note is that their workmen speak fluent English, no matter what their ethnicity. To me, that's important because I don't speak Spanish and I've had too many times where I've engaged contractors only to find that it's difficult to communicate what I want (and we therefore end up with something we didn't want and/or things don't get fixed) and/or I can't ask about progress or quality because of the language barrier. I'd rather pay a little more and be able to know what's going on, thanks. Good work, easy to communicate with, and good customer service. I'll keep using them -- in fact, I just scheduled them again for some maintenance."
"Total rip-offs. DO NOT USE Gallaway Plumbing! After I paid them they never returned to finish the plumbing installation. They gave me their word that they would, but once my check cleared they left me high and dry. I couldn't believe it; i kept thinking they would show up to complete the job as promised, but they never came back. Gallaway Plumbing left all my plumbing unfinished, took my money and never returned. I had to incur additional expense to get the job rectified. If you already involved with Gallaway plumbing, I'm sorry, my only advise is do not give them a single cent until everything is 100% complete, otherwise they are likely to take your money and run. Furthermore, their work was not up to standard."
"We have used Gallaway several times in the last few years. They have always done a good job. We had to replace a water heater recently. They came out to give us an estimate and even told us we might be able to get it done cheaper locally. But cheaper isn't always better. We know we can trust them."
"They charged us $175 to change a toilet tank lever. Yes, $175. I called to see if I could negotiate the bill and was told, very curtly and without a second of hesitation, that she would not do it. The service call was $130 and the "part" was $45. I told her the part was not $45 it was $10 because I had bought this part before. She said, I'm not discounting it. Did I want to pay with a credit card over the phone?"
