"Felipe Ramirez came out to do warranty work on a shower door hinge that was faulty. He was thorough, professional, and a good problem solver. Bobby Echols assisted well with the job. They were a good team."
"November 16th I had GlassDoctor of Arlington install new windows in my home and replace glazing. After they left I noticed they failed to replace glazing on second story windows. I notified them the next day. Three weeks later they scheduled a tech to replace the glazing they missed. The tech showed up at 4:20 pm December 7th and said there was too much work for him to do alone so he left and stated his supervisor would call later that day which was a Thursday. No call so I sent an email the following Monday requesting my money back for the window glazing not replaced. I gave them the opportunity to correct the omitted work and took another day off work. In the mean time the glazing on the first story windows started falling off. December 18th they sent a tech to take photos. Supervisor stated they were coordinating with warranty manager and the tech that took photos would call back to advise what they would refund for the work not performed. I stated going forward communicate in writing via email. No communication since. At this point I just want my money back for the work not performed. I’ll pay for another company to replace the glazing falling off the first story windows and call it a learning experience."
"We are extremely disappointed about the lack of quality of the work performed and about their unreliable communication and follow-up after complaining about the poor workmanship. The work they were supposed to perform - and collected partial payments upfront and full payment in the total amount of $255 - was installation of a T-mold on the shower glass door and a sweep mold on the bottom of the same door. The T-mold is already coming loose on the door because of bad installation and the sweep mold on the bottom now prevents the door to open in both directions. It is imperative that it opens in both directions so you can safely enter and exit the shower. I could have done such a poor job myself. We contacted the company the next day and they scheduled a repair after our holiday travel. When we explained that their future appointment doesn't work, they promised to fit us in the same day and give us a timeframe as soon as the manager arrives. Not only didn't anyone show up all day Friday, they never called to confirm or deny their promise to come out. My husband is a disabled veteran and this is the kind of "Thank you" for his service we got. I will work with our bank to withhold payment until the work is completed to our satisfaction. It irritates me greatly to take such measures since I believe in fair business practices from both, company and customer. Needless to say that they will never earn our business again and I will also contact BBB and add a public review on my very active social media accounts as well. Update 12/13/23 After contacting Glassdoctor again on 12/11/23, since they didn't call, show up or explain their lack of communication. The technician came by in the evening and reinstalled a different seal to replace the seal on the side that was peeling off after just one day and cut down the seal on the bottom of the glass shower door to allow for it to open in both directions. I would have expected the company to make an effort to reach out to us instead of us having to call yet again. While the project is complete, I know that I will never use this company again. They are overpriced for the service they provide. I will not change my rating either as the entire process of dealing with them was just very frustrating."
"We received a text the day before our service with the Glass Doctor informing us of our technician. Our time was scheduled between 12pm and 3pm. Our technician Victor Delgadillo arrived early at 11 ish. He was very professional and knew his trade well. He made sure to explain to us what he was doing and he was mindful in cleaning up the area. He definitely left a very good impression on us. We highly recommend these guys and would definitely work with them again. Thanks Glass Doctor."
"James came -to my house- to fix my van window which was stuck in the “down” position. With my husband out of town, it was SO nice to have a tech come to my house so I didn’t have to drag all my kids into a business and watch them go wild while waiting for someone to *eventually* fix my issue. He was fast, friendly and I’m so happy! Thank-you!"
