"My Archie has visited two locations, but I was in the process of moving, and at the last minute, I needed daycare. I called in, and the staff was so welcoming for me to bring my Archie for daycare at the new location. Flower at the Heights location exhibited exceptional kindness and courtesy during my dog's visit. Her warm demeanor and genuine love for animals created a positive experience. My dog seemed at ease, and I appreciated Summer's attention to detail in ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, her customer service added a delightful touch to the visit. I will always use the Heights location moving forward. Thank you Flower."
"Fantastic place to meet the needs of your daycare or boarding. The staff is amazing and keep in touch regularly! They are also very accommodating of scheduling."
"Camp Bow Wow has been a great resource for me in my work with rescue groups. I've had to use them several times for boarding my foster pups when I've gone out of town, including on major holiday weekends. Each time the staff have been welcoming (maybe it's the Tiff's Treats that my "dogs" delivered on a holiday weekend? LOL), professional and loving to my foster dogs. Each time my pups have gotten one on one attention, I'm alerted if there are any issues or questions, and they come back to me clean and happy. I give a 5 tail wags to Camp Bow Wow Houston Greater Heights!!"
"I brought my dog to Camp Bow Wow for Labor Day weekend. I dropped him off in the early afternoon on Saturday and picked him up on Monday. I booked him to get a bath and the enrichment activity "snuggle time" during his stay. When I checked the cameras Saturday afternoon, there were only three dogs in the yard playing. I called and asked if my dog would get to play and they said yes but they were cleared now for cleaning. I never saw any evidence that he got to play on Saturday, which is disappointing because I brought him a little earlier than necessary so he'd have playtime to tire him out before he had to sleep. The next day (Sunday), I thought he'd get to play, but no dogs were brought into the yard all day. When I picked him up and asked, I was told they got "extended bathroom breaks" in the morning and evening. On Monday, I was annoyed that I had to wait until 4PM to pick him up because he was still locked away, but these were their holiday hours. I picked him up at 4:30, thinking he would have had his bathroom break and visit from staff by then. When I got him home, it was clear he had not been let out in over 8 hours (probably longer). He clearly did not get the bath that I ordered unless they use dog-scented soap. I seriously doubt he got any enrichment activity. He was so thirsty he drank an entire bowl of water as fast as he could, and it obviously wasn't due to any playtime he got that weekend. I really would have appreciated being told ahead of time that he would not get any playing time for the weekend. I would have made other accommodations rather than just have him locked up for 48 hours. Is Labor Day really such an important holiday that it justifies two full days of neglecting the dogs staying at this place? Also, why cut playtime short "for cleaning" on Saturday when you know these dogs aren't going to get to play for the next two days? I realize this was a holiday weekend and staffing workers can be challenging, but when you travel to a hotel for a holiday weekend, do you expect the hotel to be staffed? Or do you expect them to be cutting corners and saying "sorry, it's a holiday. We can't offer travelers the full experience." These services are needed most on holiday weekends. Don't mistreat animals simply because they aren't able to tell on you."
"We have boarded our dog here twice now and both times were very happy with everything. Our dog is quite anxious but he has done very well and the camp was really great about communication and sending us updates!"
