"Update for anyone searching for a “plumber” like I did…ended up hiring CR plumbing due to the reviews from neighbors and google. *price gouging* We knew the outside hose spigot broke during the last little freeze when we noticed water coming through the garage floor. I found (what I thought) would be a reliable and honest plumber. Nathan arrived and told me the part would be $300 to replace. Me knowing the part is only $40ish, I figured they were just making up for the trip charge of $99, which gets credited when you agree to service. I agreed to the $300, signed the waiver, moved on. He said it would be done in 15 min. I quickly got a call and he showed me the part was broken off inside the wall, which quickly rose my bill to over $1,000. $300 for the original hose spigot replacement, $99 for drywall, and $600 for the repair and replacement to the inside hosing. The job was done and finished in under an hour. In my opinion that was an absurd amount of money for parts that cost less than $100 and a less than an hour of work. To top it all off, after the job was done (on his end) he informed me he didn’t replace or repair the drywall so I now have a huge hole in my garage needing to be taped and bedded. I sure hope Nathan is receiving a commission on what that local owners pricing rates are. My advise, if your able, shop around. I thought hiring local was better than going with the big box branded companies, 100% not the case!"
