The Yard Dog

"We absolutely love The Yard Dog! The staff and quality of services are amazing. I like how friendly they are and that we can board our two dogs together in rooms with cameras which gave me some peace of mind while out of town. I also love the photos and post cards they send you. My boyfriend's dog gets so excited anytime we walk in because they are so caring and kind to her. The facility itself is really cool too. It's my favorite boarding facility I've taken a pet to. Not to mention great pricing. Y'all are awesome!"

"Very undependable. We were travelling from out of town and needed day care for our puppy in order to do a 1:40pm JFK and Museum Tour on December 31, 2023. I called and jumped through all the required online hoops providing information and answering questions. I also explained that we were coming from out of town and unable to do the initial meet until we got there. I was then connected directly to the Addison location and spoke to the reception desk/handler who reviewed everything and assured me that they could do the meeting when we arrived. They even emailed me a confirmation of the time and date. On that day (Sunday December 31st) we arrived to find the kennel closed. Since we were 15 minutes early I tried to phone and received the answering machine message that they were closed. I waited until 12:15pm (just in case) and called again only to receive the same message that they were closed. We ended up having to miss our tour and forfeit the $150 cost. Around 7:00pm that night I received a message informing me that our reservation had been cancelled. Nice job Yard Dog, thanks..."

"My full size Aussie loves going to The Yard Dog. He goes 3-4 times a week to doggy daycare. Anytime the back door of my SUV opens he jumps in, he really only gets in my car to go to daycare, so I assume he thinks that’s where he’s going! I was a little worried when he went to his evaluation because he loves to run our fence line and bark at other dogs. The staff there handled him well and said he was great. Every day when I pick him up he’s happy and best of all tired! He loves water so the sprinklers, hose, and doggy pool is a hit with him! I really can’t say enough good things about the facility and staff."

"I 100% recommend this place for your pups. I got my goldendoodle, Brodie about 2 months ago from a rescue and he was a very very nervous and shy boy. The Yard Dog staff has been so patient with him and has been able to get him out of his shell! For example, he used to not want to get in the car AT ALL (I'm sure because he didn't know where he was going next) but now he hops in the car like no one's business and beats me to the front door when I say "Are you ready to go to school Brodie boy!?". Such a fun and friendly environment for everyone! Brodie and I both LOVE Yard Dog!"

"I am so happy I stumbled across Yard Dog. It is right down the street from my office which makes daycare very convenient! This is the first place I’ve ever taken Hank to for daycare and I can’t see myself taking him anywhere else. I have also boarded him here twice and I feel so relieved knowing he’s being taken care of and having fun! I love that they have the live webcams and also send out pup report cards! I recently had to extend his boarding stay last minute due to travel difficulties and they were more than accommodating! Hank & I love Yard Dog and we thank the staff for all they do!"
